FUPRE JUPEB Form 2025/2026: Everything You Need to Know About Direct Entry Admission
The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has officially opened applications for its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This golden opportunity allows students to skip 100-level and gain direct entry admission into 200-level in FUPRE or other JUPEB-affiliated universities across Nigeria.
What is JUPEB?
JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) is a one-year intensive academic programme designed for students who want to fast-track their university education.
At FUPRE, the 2025/2026 JUPEB session will run from October 2025 to August 2026. Students who successfully complete the programme and pass the final JUPEB exam can secure direct entry into 200-level courses.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for FUPRE JUPEB 2025/2026, applicants must:
- Possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and subjects relevant to their desired course of study.
- Present results (awaiting results are not accepted).
- Sit for the compulsory qualifying entrance examination.
- Pay a ₦50,000 non-refundable acceptance fee upon admission.
Additionally, candidates are required to purchase the JAMB Direct Entry form after completing JUPEB, as part of the admission process into 200 level.
Important Note: Once admitted, no refund will be given if a candidate withdraws from the programme.
How to Apply for FUPRE JUPEB 2025/2026
- Visit the FUPRE Sub-degree portal
- Pay the ₦15,000 application fee (non-refundable) online.
- Complete the online form with accurate details.
- Submit before the deadline (incomplete forms will not be accepted).
Key Dates to Remember
- Application Deadline: Sunday, 14th September 2025 (12:00 am)
- Entrance Examination: Thursday, 18th September 2025 (9:00 am, at FUPRE ICT Building)
- Lectures Begin: Monday, 20th October 2025
