FUNAAB Secures NUC Approval to Launch M.Sc. Agroecology Programme
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has received the green light from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence a Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Agroecology — a major stride toward promoting sustainable agricultural development and research in Nigeria and across Africa.
This new programme comes as part of the European Union-funded ERASMUS+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Project, known as AGRECOFARM (Agricultural Ecological Farming). The international project seeks to strengthen collaboration between African and European universities in advancing agroecological education, innovation, and research for a sustainable future.
