FUNAAB Extends Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application Deadline for 2025/2026 Admission

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially extended the deadline for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) application.

Originally scheduled to close earlier, the new deadline is now Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

According to FUNAAB management, the extension was granted to accommodate applicants whose results were recently released and those who experienced technical challenges during the registration process. The university, however, warned that no further extension may be given, urging interested candidates to take advantage of this opportunity.

Who Can Apply?

UTME Candidates

To qualify, you must:

• Choose FUNAAB as your first choice in JAMB.
• Score at least 160 in the UTME.
• Possess five credits in relevant O’level subjects (in one or two sittings).

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

To qualify, you must:

• Hold an Upper Credit or equivalent in your previous programme (OND, HND, or A-Level).
• Choose FUNAAB as your first choice in JAMB.
• Ensure your official transcript or certified statement of results is sent directly to the Registrar on or before Friday, August 15, 2025.

Note: Without your transcript, your DE application will not be considered.

FUNAAB Cut-Off Marks by Faculty

Here are the minimum JAMB scores required for various programmes:

• Agriculture-related courses – 160 and above
• Biological Sciences, Computing, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Food Science, Veterinary Medicine – 200 and above
• Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Home Science, Tourism – 180 and above
• Library Science, Cooperative Studies, Development Studies – 160 and above

How to Apply Online

Applying is simple. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the  FUNAAB admission portal
2. Log in using your JAMB UTME or DE number.
3. Print your invoice with a REMITA Reference Number.
4. Pay ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges) online or at any REMITA-enabled bank.
5. Return to the portal and fill out the online form.
6. Double-check all entries before submission.
7. Print your completed form with your passport photograph.

Important Notice:

• Any correction after submission costs ₦1,500 and must be done before the deadline.
• Upload the correct O’level or DE results—wrong details lead to outright disqualification,  Do that here.

Part-Time Option

FUNAAB also offers part-time (evening) programmes for some courses. Interested candidates can explore available options via the university’s part-time degree portal.

• Application Opens: Monday, July 21, 2025
• Application Closes: Tuesday, August 26, 2025 (final deadline – no late entries).
