FUMMSA Extends Post-UTME Registration, Announces Screening and Resumption Dates
The Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA), has officially extended its Post-UTME registration deadline for the 2025/2026 academic session, while also rolling out important dates for screening and resumption.
Registration Deadline Extended
Initially scheduled to close on Friday, August 29, 2025, the Post-UTME registration portal will now remain open until Sunday, August 31, 2025. This gives more prospective candidates an extra chance to complete their registration and secure a place in Nigeria’s first specialized medical university.
Screening Exercise Details
FUMMSA has announced that physical screening for admitted students will hold from Tuesday, September 2, to Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Wole Soyinka Library, FUNAAB Campus, Alabata, Abeokuta. The exercise begins daily at 9:00 a.m., and all candidates offered admission must appear in person.
Resumption Date Confirmed
The University further stated that all newly admitted students will officially resume for the new academic session on Monday, September 8, 2025, when registration activities kick off.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?

- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must have written the 2025 UTME.
- You need a minimum JAMB score of 200.
- Candidates must process a change of institution to FUMMSA on the JAMB portal.
- For Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and other professional programmes, your five SSCE credits must be obtained in one sitting.
