The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) is now accepting applications for postgraduate programmes at the Global Institute for Infectious Disease Control (GIIDC) for the 2024/2025 academic session. Admission Requirements for GIIDC Programmes
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Duration: 2 to 4 semesters.
- Applicants must have a first degree with at least a Third Class or an HND with at least a Lower Credit in a related field from a recognised institution.
- An NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate is required.
- O’ Level credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are mandatory.
- HND graduates in relevant fields are encouraged to apply.
Master of Science (M.Sc.)
- Applicants must meet the same O’ Level requirements listed above.
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second-Class Lower in fields like Medicine, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines from a recognised university is required.
- Applicants with an Upper Credit in PGD Microbiology (from FULOKOJA or other accredited institutions) may also be considered.
- Additional requirements may be outlined by the College of Postgraduate Studies at FULOKOJA.
