FULOKOJA Fixes 14th Matriculation for Jan 30, 2026 — Full Schedule, Venue & Student Guidelines

The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has officially announced the details of its 14th Matriculation Ceremony for students admitted into the 2025/2026 academic session—and the university is leaving nothing to chance.

From registration deadlines to strict entry rules, the message is clear: miss a step, and you risk missing the ceremony—or worse, your admission.

Here is everything fresh students need to know.


Matriculation Date, Time and Venue

  • Date: Friday, January 30, 2026
  • Time: 4:00 pm
  • Venue: COHS Auditorium, College of Health Sciences (COHS) Campus, Lokoja

All matriculating students must be present at the COHS Campus, which also serves as the assembly point for the procession.

Registration and School Charges Deadline

A memo signed by Shamaki Nuhu Kaje, FCIA, Senior Deputy Registrar (Admissions Division), directs all fresh students to:

  • Complete registration and payment of school charges on or before:
    Sunday, January 25, 2026

Warning:
Students who fail to meet this deadline risk automatic withdrawal of admission. This is not optional.

Collection of Matriculation Gowns

  • Start Date: Wednesday, January 28, 2026
  • Collection Point: Respective Departmental Administrative Officers

Gown distribution is strictly first-come, first-served. Late collection may mean missing out.

Instructions for the Matriculation Day

To ensure order and security, FULOKOJA issued the following guidelines:

  • 1:30 pm: Report at the COHS ICT Car Park
  • 2:30 pm: Procession to the auditorium begins
  • 3:30 pm: All students must be seated
  • After 3:30 pm: No entry or exit will be allowed
  • Compulsory: Official matriculation gown must be worn to gain access

Students who arrive late will not be permitted to join the procession or enter the hall.

Gown Return Deadline and Penalty

  • Return Deadline: Monday, February 2, 2026 (by 2:00 pm)
  • Late Return Fee: ₦5,000

Gowns must be returned in good condition to avoid penalties.
