FULOKOJA Disowns Link With Abuja Monotechnic, Warns Students Against Fake Affiliation Claims

The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has issued a strong public warning, debunking claims that it has any form of partnership, affiliation, or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quest for Knowledge Monotechnic, Mararaba, Abuja.

In a statement released by the University’s management, FULOKOJA stressed that no academic, administrative, or collaborative relationship exists or has ever existed between the two institutions.

The University described the circulating claims—especially online posts and verbal assertions linking both schools—as “false, unauthorised, and misleading.”

No Partnership, No MoU, No Affiliation — FULOKOJA Clarifies

According to the official announcement, FULOKOJA categorically denies:

  • Any signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quest for Knowledge Monotechnic
  • Any academic linkage, affiliation, or joint programme
  • Any collaboration, partnership, or shared certification
  • Any advert, publication, or claim linking both institutions

The University emphasized that all such claims are fabricated and should be ignored unless confirmed directly through FULOKOJA’s official communication channels.

Public Alert: Beware of Fraudulent Admissions and Fake Fees

FULOKOJA has urged students, parents, guardians, and the general public to avoid entering into agreements with Quest for Knowledge Monotechnic under the assumption that such dealings are backed by the University.

These misleading dealings may include:

  • Admission processes claiming to lead to a FULOKOJA degree
  • Payment of fees falsely described as “for Federal University Lokoja”
  • Attendance at programmes, courses, or trainings supposedly run jointly with FULOKOJA
  • Signing any document bearing the University’s name, crest, or logo without official verification

The University insists that anyone engaging with the monotechnic based on these false claims does so entirely at their own risk.

FULOKOJA Not Liable for Fraudulent Losses

FULOKOJA made it clear that it will not bear liability—financial or otherwise—for any consequences arising from these fraudulent affiliations.

This includes:

  • Loss of money paid under false pretenses
  • Loss of time spent on non-recognised programmes
  • Emotional or psychological stress caused by misinformation

The University advises all stakeholders to remain vigilant and always verify information through official school websites, bulletins, or authorised staff.
