FULAFIA Sets December 10 as Start of 2025 End-of-Year Holiday
The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has officially released the schedule for its 2025 end-of-year break, offering students and staff a clear guide for planning their holiday activities.
In a statement issued by the University Management, the break will begin on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, and end on Sunday, January 4, 2026. All academic and administrative operations are expected to fully resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.
A Tradition of Structured Holiday Planning
The announcement aligns with FULAFIA’s long-standing practice of providing early notice for major academic calendar events. According to the management, this approach allows the university community to organize their schedules with certainty and avoid interruptions to academic activities.
Essential Duties to Run Uninterrupted
While the holiday applies to all staff and students, the university noted that those assigned to essential services will remain on duty throughout the period to ensure that critical operations continue smoothly. These include security, health services, power management, and other key units that support campus safety and maintenance.
Management Expresses Gratitude and Encourages Reflection
FULAFIA’s leadership expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work demonstrated throughout the year. The management encouraged students to use the holiday for meaningful rest, personal development, and preparation for the next phase of academic activities.
Staff members were also advised to re-energize and, where necessary, attend to light tasks that may help them ease into full operations upon resumption.
A Calm and Reflective Holiday Ahead
The university emphasized the importance of good conduct during the break and urged members of the community to maintain discipline while celebrating responsibly.
With the schedule now confirmed, FULAFIA students and staff can look forward to a peaceful and well-coordinated end-of-year holiday
