FULAFIA Senate Approves Registration for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The Senate of the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has officially approved the commencement of registration for both returning and newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This major academic update was announced during the University Senate’s 97th regular meeting held on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The decision marks the formal beginning of preparations for the new academic year, aligning with FULAFIA’s commitment to flexible and tech-driven learning.
Registration and Online Lectures Begin Ahead of Resumption
According to the revised academic calendar approved by the University Management, all students are expected to complete their registration online before the official resumption date. This digital-first approach ensures a seamless start to the semester, enabling students to register from the comfort of their homes.
To kick off the session efficiently, the University has scheduled virtual lectures for the first six weeks of the semester. Physical Lectures and Hostel Applications Start January 2026
FULAFIA’s academic structure for 2025/2026 blends online and physical learning. While online classes will dominate the early part of the semester, on-campus activities will commence in the first week of January 2026, marking the start of physical lectures and practical sessions.
The University also confirmed that the hostel accommodation portal will open in the first week of January 2026. Interested students are advised to apply through the official FULAFIA website once the portal becomes active.
