FUKASHERE Releases 2025 Admission List: How to Check Your Status on JAMB CAPS
The long wait is finally over for thousands of applicants who applied to the Federal University of Kashere (FUKASHERE). The university has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates who took part in the pre-admission screening exercise can now check their status exclusively through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check FUKASHERE Admission List on JAMB CAPS
Checking your admission status is straightforward if you follow these steps:
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
- Log in with your JAMB username and password.
- Scroll down and select “Check Admission Status.”
- Click on “Access My CAPS.”
- Tap on “Admission Status” to view your offer.
Note: Mobile users may encounter display issues on CAPS. If you only see a “Welcome” message, switch your browser to desktop mode (preferably using Chrome) and reload the page.
What the Different CAPS Messages Mean
When you check your status, you may see one of these responses:
- ADMISSION OFFERED – Congratulations! You have been admitted. Proceed to accept or reject the offer.
- ADMISSION IN PROGRESS (AIP) – You’re on track. Your admission is awaiting final approval from the institution and JAMB.
- RECOMMENDED – Your institution has recommended you. JAMB is reviewing your application for approval.
- NOT ADMITTED – Unfortunately, you don’t have an offer yet. However, this could change as more lists are released.
- PENDING – Your admission is still being processed.
Next Steps After Admission
Candidates offered admission should immediately:
- Accept or Reject the offer via SMS by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
- Print out their JAMB Admission Letter for official documentation.
Final Note
For those who made the list, congratulations! For others still waiting, don’t lose hope — admission lists are usually released in batches, and more names are expected in the coming weeks.
Every academic year tells a new story, and your chance may still be around the corner.
