FUHSI Extends Post-UTME Registration Deadline for 2025/2026 Admission
Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI) has officially extended the closing date for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The management of FUHSI announced that the application portal, which was earlier set to close on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, will now remain open until Friday, September 5, 2025.
This extension gives candidates more time to complete their applications. The school, however, made it clear that no further extension will be granted after the new deadline.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for FUHSI’s Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening:
- You must have chosen FUHSI as your first choice during JAMB registration.
- If FUHSI was not your first choice, you can still apply after changing it on the JAMB portal.
FUHSI Courses and Cut-Off Marks
Here are the available courses and their required UTME cut-off scores:
- Audiology – 200
- Biochemistry – 180
- Biotechnology & Molecular Biology – 180
- Doctor of Physiotherapy – 200
- Environmental Health Science – 180
- Information Technology & Health Informatics – 180
- Medical Laboratory Science – 210
- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) – 220
- Microbiology – 180
- Nursing Science – 210
- Nutrition & Dietetics – 180
- Pharmacology – 180
- Prosthetics & Orthotics – 180
Important Note: For Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Physiotherapy, candidates must present their O’level results in one sitting only. No result combination is allowed.
Direct Entry (DE) Requirements
If you are applying via Direct Entry, especially for Medicine or Nursing, you must have:
- At least a Second Class Upper degree.
- The degree must be in a relevant field.
- The university must be accredited and recognized.

- Read the instructions carefully before filling out the form to avoid costly mistakes.
Deadline to Remember
The new closing date is Friday, September 5, 2025. The portal will close immediately after this date, and the university has confirmed that no further extension will be given.
