FUET Announces Major 2025 Recruitment Drive: Dozens of Academic and Non-Teaching Vacancies Open
The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Koroma/Sakpenwa, has launched one of the most extensive recruitment exercises among Nigeria’s new-generation universities, inviting qualified, experienced, and highly motivated candidates to fill numerous academic and non-teaching positions across its pioneering faculties and administrative units.

A Nationwide Call for Talent

Qualification Requirements
FUET released a detailed list of qualification standards for all positions. Below are key highlights:
For Professors / Associate Professors
- Ph.D. in relevant field
- 9–12 years continuous university teaching and research
- Extensive publications (25–30 articles; foreign-indexed journals required)
- Postgraduate supervision experience
- Strong administrative and academic leadership
- Professional registration where applicable
For Senior Lecturers / Lecturers I & II
- Ph.D. or Master’s (depending on rank)
- Proven research output and teaching effectiveness
- Minimum years of teaching or research experience
- Evidence of publications and professional membership
For Assistant Lecturers / Graduate Assistants
- Master’s degree or Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s degree
- Research potential and willingness to pursue postgraduate studies
Non-Teaching Qualifications
Each administrative, technical, and healthcare role includes specific requirements such as:
- NYSC discharge/exemption
- Professional licenses (MDCN, PCN, MLSCN, NMCN, COREN, PR bodies, etc.)
- Evidence of practical experience
- Computer literacy
- Specialized certifications (e.g., coaching badges, accounting software, HIS software, CAD, programming languages, Trade Test Certificates)
