A One-Year Intervention to Boost Skills Training

According to the Ministry, the recruitment is part of ongoing reforms designed to modernize skills education and improve workforce readiness across Nigeria.

Officials said the initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with the goal of bridging the country’s skills gap by bringing industry expertise directly into classrooms.

Successful candidates are expected to deliver modern, competency-based instruction that matches current labor market needs, combining both practical workshop training and theoretical teaching.

Who the Recruitment Targets

The recruitment drive is aimed at experienced, industry-oriented technical professionals with strong teaching ability.

The Ministry emphasized that selected facilitators will play a key role in strengthening both hands-on training and classroom instruction across Federal Technical Colleges. Applicants are expected to possess not only technical expertise but also the pedagogical skills required to effectively train students.

How to Apply — Important Notes for Applicants

Interested candidates must complete the official online application form through the Ministry’s designated recruitment portal.

The Ministry stressed that all applications will undergo a transparent, rigorous, and merit-based evaluation process. Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee selection.

The application portal will officially close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete their submissions before the deadline to avoid disqualification.

Strengthening Federal Technical Colleges
