The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has officially launched the sale of postgraduate supplementary admission forms for the 2023/2024 academic session. Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Must meet the university’s matriculation requirements.
- Graduates of FULAFIA or any other recognized university must hold an Honours degree.
- Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) must have at least an upper credit pass in related disciplines.
- HND holders with lower credit may be considered with a minimum of five years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Other qualifications may also be accepted, with or without relevant experience.
Master’s Programmes (M.A., MFA, M.Sc.)
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Sc.) in a related field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of Second Class Lower Division (CGPA of 3.0) is required.
- For History and International Studies, a CGPA of 2.50 or a 50% score is acceptable.
M.Phil./Ph.D. Programmes
- Must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a five-point scale or 55% average score is required.
Professional Degrees
- Candidates with relevant experience in the field of study may also be considered.

- Application Deadline: The sale of forms begins on Monday, November 25, 2024, and closes on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
- Qualifying Examination: All applicants will undergo a qualifying examination. Details will be sent via email and text message.
- Transcript Submission: Applicants must ensure their academic transcripts are submitted to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies, FULAFIA. The Transcript Request Form can be downloaded on the official portal.
