Federal University Dutse Releases Step-by-Step Guide for 2024/2025 Acceptance Fee Payment and Registration

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has officially announced the process for payment of acceptance fees and registration for the 2024/2025 academic session. All newly admitted students are advised to follow these simple, step-by-step instructions to complete their registration smoothly.

Step 1: Check Your Admission Status
Before proceeding with any payments or registrations, it is crucial to confirm your admission status. Here’s how:

• Visit the  FUD Admission Status Checking portal.
• Log in using your JAMB number as the username and your state of origin as the password.
• Navigate to the “Admission Status” tab to view your results.

Step 2: Pay Your Acceptance Fee
Once your admission is confirmed, the next step is to pay the acceptance fee:

• Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number from the portal.
• Use your RRR number to pay the acceptance fee of N2,000 via debit card.
• Print both the Remita and acceptance receipts.
• Submit these receipts to the faculty accountant for verification.
• Proceed to your department for credential screening and collection of your admission letter.

Step 3: Complete Your Registration
After your acceptance fee payment, it’s time to complete your registration:

• Log in to the FUD portal using your JAMB number and state of origin (in capital letters).
• Generate a payment invoice under the “School Fees” tab.
• Choose either “Full Payment” or “Part Payment” and make the payment online or at the FUD Microfinance Bank or any commercial bank.
• Once payment is confirmed, generate your registration number.
• Log out and log back in using your registration number as both your username and password.
• Change your password to a secure one containing a mix of characters for your safety.
• Upload a recent passport photo and update your bio-data.
• Download necessary forms, such as the clinic form, from the “Downloadable” tab.

Step 4: Register for Courses
You are now ready to register for your courses:

• Go to the “Course Registration” section and select the courses for the semester.
• For guidance, consult your level coordinator to ensure you are enrolling in the correct courses.
• If you require accommodation, reserve a bed space under the “Hostel” section.

Important Reminder: Ensure that all payments are made before the registration deadlines to avoid delays.
