FCE Ididep Opens 2025/2026 NCE Admission: UTME 100+ and Non-UTME Applicants Eligible

The Federal College of Education, Ididep (FCEI), has officially announced the commencement of admission into its Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session, opening the door to both UTME and non-UTME candidates.

In a notice released by the College management, candidates who scored 100 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply. In addition, the College confirmed that candidates with valid National Identification Numbers (NIN) who did not sit for the 2025 UTME can also apply, a move expected to widen access to teacher education.


Who Is Eligible to Apply?

According to the admission guidelines issued by FCE Ididep, the following categories of candidates are qualified:

  • Candidates who scored 100 marks and above in the 2025 UTME
  • Candidates with a valid NIN, even if they did not participate in the 2025 UTME
  • Candidates who did not initially choose FCE Ididep as their first choice but scored 100 and above must change their first-choice institution to Federal College of Education, Ididep on the JAMB CAPS portal

O’Level Requirements

All applicants must also satisfy the prescribed O’Level conditions:

  • A minimum of four (4) credit passes in relevant subjects
  • English Language is compulsory for Arts and Social Sciences programmes
  • Mathematics is compulsory for Science, Vocational, and Technical programmes
  • Results must be obtained from not more than two sittings in SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE or equivalent examinations

Candidates who changed their first-choice institution to FCE Ididep are required to:

  • Send a soft copy of their JAMB Change of School Choice form to [email protected], or
  • Submit a hard copy directly at the College campus
