Lagos State University Consult Limited, rebranded in 2019, focuses on providing consultancy services, diploma programs, and workshops, aimed at generating additional revenue for the university.
Key Responsibilities of the Managing Director
As Managing Director, you will be at the helm of both LASU Ventures and LASU Consult. Your role will involve:
- Leading business operations and identifying new investment opportunities.
- Ensuring financial health and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Acting as the chief executive and reporting directly to the boards.
- Developing and implementing strategic business plans.
- Monitoring market trends to seize growth opportunities.
- Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Who Are We Looking For?
Ideal candidates should possess:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or Business Administration, plus an MBA.
- Membership in recognized professional bodies, such as ICAN or NIMARK.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including five years in a government or university-owned investment company.
- A solid understanding of financial regulations and company law.
- Candidates must be 55 years or older.
