Empowering Ijesa Youth: The Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Foundation Scholarship Now Open for Applications

The Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Foundation (CAHF) is once again offering educational support to deserving students of Ijesa origin. The foundation, committed to empowering young minds, is calling on undergraduates from Ijesa land to apply for its scholarship programme aimed at easing the financial burden of education.

This scholarship initiative serves students across all six local governments in Ijesa land, helping them pursue their academic dreams. Over the years, the foundation has awarded grants to hundreds of students, providing vital financial assistance that enables them to focus on their studies without the stress of tuition fees and other academic expenses.

Who Can Apply?

The CAHF Scholarship Programme is open to full-time undergraduates from Ijesa origin currently enrolled in Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Good academic standing: Applicants must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of Second Class Upper Division or higher.

Required Documents

To complete your application, you will need to upload the following documents:

  1. Evidence of Local Government of Origin from your local council.
  2. Letter of introduction signed by your current Head of Department.
  3. Certified academic record from your institution’s Exams and Records division.
  4. Current student ID card issued by your institution.
  5. Proof of registration for the current semester or session.
  6. Confirmation of membership in the Federation of Ijesa Students’ Union (FISU).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend oral interviews and must present the original documents used in their application.
