Delta State University Announces 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony Date, Venues and Key Details
Delta State University (DELSU) has officially announced the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted Postgraduate, Undergraduate, and Diploma students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The ceremony will be held simultaneously at the university’s Abraka and Oleh campuses, with strict seating times for all matriculating students.
University authorities advised students to attend only at their designated campuses and arrive early to ensure a smooth and organized ceremony.
Matriculation Date for 2025/2026 Session
The DELSU matriculation ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The event will formally welcome fresh students into the university community and mark the beginning of their academic journey.
Abraka Campus: Time and Venue
Students assigned to the Abraka campus will hold their matriculation at:
- Time: 9:00 a.m.
- Venue: Convocation Arena, Site 01, Abraka
- Seating Time: 8:30 a.m.
University officials emphasized that students must be seated by 8:30 a.m., urging early arrival to avoid disruptions once the ceremony begins.
Oleh Campus: Time and Venue
For students assigned to the Oleh campus, the ceremony details are as follows:
- Time: 11:00 a.m.
- Venue: 750-seat Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering, Oleh
- Seating Time: 10:30 a.m.
DELSU management stressed that all matriculating students at Oleh should be fully settled by 10:30 a.m. to allow the program to start promptly.
