DELSU Opens Change of Course Portal for 2025/2026 Admission — Apply Before November 5

The Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has officially announced the opening of its change of course application for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This opportunity is specifically for candidates who scored 40 and above in the DELSU Post-UTME screening but are yet to secure admission in the first, second, or third admission batches.

According to the University management, qualified candidates are invited to apply for a change of course into any of the newly approved and available programmes across various faculties.

“Candidates must ensure that their UTME and O’Level subject combinations align with their new programme choices before submission,” the university emphasized.


How to Apply for DELSU Change of Course 2025/2026

  1. Visit the JAMB Portal and apply for a change of course to any of the approved DELSU programmes.
  2. After completing the JAMB process, submit evidence of the change to the Admissions Office, DELSU Abraka.
  3. Attach a copy of your Post-UTME score sheet to the submission.
  4. All applications must be submitted on or before Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

DELSU has made it clear that no extension will be granted beyond the deadline.

  • O’Level: Five credits including English, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics, and Physics (max two sittings).

Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (Public Health)

  • UTME: English, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
  • O’Level: Five credits including English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Faculty of Computing (Cyber Security, IT, Software Engineering, Information System)

  • UTME: English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • O’Level: Five credits including English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and one from Biology, Further Maths, Economics, or Geography.

Faculty of Environmental Sciences

  • UTME: English, Mathematics, Physics, and one from Chemistry, Geography, Art, Biology, Economics, or Technical Drawing.
  • O’Level: Five credits including English, Mathematics, Physics, and two from Chemistry, Geography, Fine Art, Biology, Economics, or Technical Drawing.

Faculty of Science (Environmental Science & Toxicology)

  • UTME: English, Chemistry, Biology, and one from Mathematics or Physics.
  • O’Level: Five credits including English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and one from Physics, Geography, or Agricultural Science.
