DELSU Extends Post-UTME Form Deadline for 2025/2026 Admission – New Closing Date Announced
Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has officially extended the deadline for the purchase of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening forms.
Initially scheduled to close on Sunday, August 24, 2025, the application window has now been pushed to Sunday, August 31, 2025.
According to the university management, the extension is designed to give more candidates the opportunity to complete their applications and avoid missing out on the admission process.
Who Can Apply for DELSU Post-UTME 2025?
The screening exercise is open to:
- UTME candidates who scored 150 and above and selected DELSU as their first choice in JAMB.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates with qualifications such as NCE, OND, HND, A-levels, or a first degree in relevant subjects.
- Candidates who wish to change their first choice institution to DELSU via the JAMB portal before August 22, 2025.
Important: Every applicant must upload their O’level results to the JAMB portal. Applications without this will not be processed.
How to Apply for DELSU Post-UTME 2025/2026
- Visit the DELSU student portal
- Click on POST UTME 2025/2026.
- Select Start Form and enter your JAMB registration number.
- Complete the form and proceed to make payment online.
- Input your O’level subjects, guardian’s information, and upload a passport photograph.
- Submit the form and print a copy for reference.
What Happens After Registration?
- DELSU will communicate the next steps through the email address and phone number you provided during registration.
- Candidates are advised to ensure their contact details are active and accessible.
Key Reminders for Candidates
- Upload your O’level results on the JAMB portal — without this, admission is impossible.
- Avoid false details or forged documents; candidates caught will be automatically disqualified.
- The final deadline for applications is Sunday, August 31, 2025 (midnight). No further extension will be granted.
