COOU Sets 2025/2026 Matriculation for February 13, Campus-Based at Igbariam and Uli
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly Anambra State University (ANSU), has officially announced the date and full plan for its 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony, confirming a campus-based event that will hold simultaneously at its Igbariam and Uli campuses.
According to a statement released in line with the university’s Senate-approved academic calendar, the matriculation ceremony is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026, and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Two Campuses, One Ceremony Day
Unlike a centralised gathering, COOU’s matriculation will take place separately at each campus, with the same rules and programme structure applied across locations.
Matriculation venues:
- Igbariam Campus
- Uli Campus
Each campus will host its own ceremony on the same day, ensuring smooth coordination and crowd control.
Time Schedule All Fresh Students Must Note
The university has fixed a uniform time frame for both campuses:
- Start: 11:00 a.m.
- End: 4:00 p.m.
Fresh students are advised to plan their movement and arrival time carefully to avoid missing any part of the ceremony.
Strict Ban on Parties During Matriculation
COOU management has issued a clear and firm directive banning all forms of parties or celebrations within the university premises on matriculation day.

- Staff
- All campus spaces
Any violation of this directive, the university stressed, will attract disciplinary action.
