COOU Extends Post-UTME Application Deadline for 2025/2026 Admissions

If you are hoping to secure admission into Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), here’s some good news — the university has officially extended the Post-UTME application deadline to September 30, 2025.

The management confirmed that all other admission requirements remain unchanged, so candidates are advised to seize this opportunity and complete their applications before the new deadline.

Who Can Apply?

COOU, formerly known as Anambra State University, is calling on all UTME candidates who chose the school as their first choice — and even those willing to change to COOU — to take advantage of the extension.

  • Minimum UTME Score:
    • 150 for most courses
    • 200 and above for competitive courses like Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025

If COOU was not your first choice, you can still switch at any accredited JAMB CBT centre.

Application Fees and Key Dates

  • Form Fee: ₦2,000 (payable via the REMITA platform)
  • Application Start Date: Monday, August 11, 2025
  • New Closing Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2025

Payment can be made online or at any commercial bank nationwide.
