Claretian University Opens 2025/2026 Admission Portal — Here’s How to Apply for 100 & 200 Level

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Whether you’re coming in through UTME or Direct Entry, Claretian has a clear set of requirements.

For UTME Applicants:

You must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Have sat for UTME and selected Claretian University (or plan to do a change of institution)
  • Possess five credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings

Special Course Requirements:
For courses like B. Agriculture, you’ll also need credit passes in:
Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Physics, Mathematics, and English.
Even if you didn’t score high in Physics and Maths, attempting them is mandatory.

For Direct Entry Candidates:

Claretian University welcomes qualified direct entry students.

You qualify if you have:

  • ND (National Diploma) with Distinction
  • HND (Higher National Diploma) with Credit
  • NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education) with Double Major at Credit level
  • ND with Credit or NCE with Merit

Placement Levels:

  • ND (Upper Credit) = 200 level
  • HND holders = Up to 300 level (except DVM programs)
  • Lower qualifications = 100 level

How to Apply for Claretian University 2025

You can apply online or walk into the campus for physical assistance.

  3. Choose Undergraduate Programmes
  4. Fill out the application form via the Online Application Portal
