Claretian University Opens 2025/2026 Admission Portal — Here’s How to Apply for 100 & 200 Level

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Whether you’re coming in through UTME or Direct Entry, Claretian has a clear set of requirements.
For UTME Applicants:
You must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Have sat for UTME and selected Claretian University (or plan to do a change of institution)
- Possess five credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings
Special Course Requirements:
For courses like B. Agriculture, you’ll also need credit passes in:
Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Physics, Mathematics, and English.
Even if you didn’t score high in Physics and Maths, attempting them is mandatory.
For Direct Entry Candidates:
Claretian University welcomes qualified direct entry students.
You qualify if you have:
- ND (National Diploma) with Distinction
- HND (Higher National Diploma) with Credit
- NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education) with Double Major at Credit level
- ND with Credit or NCE with Merit
Placement Levels:
- ND (Upper Credit) = 200 level
- HND holders = Up to 300 level (except DVM programs)
- Lower qualifications = 100 level
