Christiana Omosigho Foundation Launches ₦250,000 Support Fund for Final-Year Nigerian Students
In a bold move to support financially struggling university students, the Christiana Omosigho Foundation has announced the opening of its Student Support Fund for exceptional final-year Nigerian students.
The initiative is designed to ease the financial burden of completing tertiary education by providing substantial assistance for both project expenses and personal upkeep throughout a student’s final academic year.
“Our goal is to ensure no brilliant student abandons their degree because of financial pressure,” the foundation said in a statement.
What Beneficiaries Will Receive
Under the Christiana Omosigho Foundation Student Support Fund, selected students will receive:
- Up to ₦250,000 to cover final-year project expenses.
- Up to ₦80,000 monthly for personal and academic upkeep throughout the final year.
The support targets academically outstanding students who are facing financial difficulties that could hinder them from graduating.
Simple and Flexible Application Process
To make the process accessible to all, the foundation has introduced two application options — both designed to promote fairness and flexibility:
Option 1: Private Submission
Applicants can record a one-minute video featuring themselves and their referee, then upload it using the official application form on the foundation’s website.
Option 2: Public Submission
Alternatively, applicants can post their one-minute video on social media, tag @christianaomosigho_foundation, and invite the foundation as a collaborator.
Both submission methods will receive equal consideration, giving students the freedom to choose whichever feels more comfortable and authentic.
Important Deadline
All applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, 13th November 2025.
Late submissions will not be reviewed.
Beyond Financial Aid: Building a Future of Resilience
The Christiana Omosigho Foundation Student Support Fund represents more than just financial assistance. It’s a platform to empower young Nigerians to finish strong, stay focused, and uphold values of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance.
By helping students complete their studies with dignity and confidence, the foundation aims to nurture a generation of graduates ready to make meaningful contributions to society.
