CCUK Post-UTME/Direct Entry 2025: Dates, How to Apply, and What Happens Next

The countdown is on. Capital City University Kano (CCUK) will open its Post-UTME and Direct Entry application portal on Monday, August 11, 2025, and close it on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. That’s roughly seven weeks to get everything right—plenty of time if you start now, risky if you wait till the last minute.

At a glance

  • Application window: Monday, August 11, 2025 → Tuesday, September 30, 2025
  • Mode: 100% online (apply from your phone or laptop; a cybercafé is fine if your network is unstable)
  • Documents to upload: O’Level result(s) and JAMB slip (or DE qualification for Direct Entry)
  • After applying: Watch for your name on CCUK’s admission page, then accept on JAMB CAPS to secure your offer

How to apply (step-by-step, stress-free)

  1. Visit the portal: Go to ccuk.esys.ng.
  2. Generate invoice: Click “Purchase Form” to create your payment invoice and RRR.
  3. Pay the fee: Pay at any bank via Remita or use your debit card directly on the portal.
  4. Confirm payment: Return to the portal, click “Apply Now,” and enter your RRR plus the required details.
  5. Fill the form carefully: Take your time—typos and wrong entries can delay or derail admission.
  6. Upload documents:
    • O’Level result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB as applicable)
    • JAMB slip (for Post-UTME) or DE qualification (for Direct Entry)
  7. Submit & print: Click Submit, then print your acknowledgement slip and completed form for your records.

Pro tip: Fill the form on a stable network. Save each section as you go. Double-check names, numbers, and exam details before submitting.

What happens after submission?

  • Admission list: If you’re successful, your name will be published on CCUK’s official admission page.
  • Very important — JAMB CAPS: Your admission isn’t complete until you log in to JAMB CAPS and accept the offer. If you skip this, your slot can be forfeited.

Smart checklist before you click “Submit”

  • Correct bio data (names exactly as on your credentials)
  • Accurate exam details and results
  • Clear scans (not blurry, not cropped)
  • Printed acknowledgement slip and completed form

Why this matters (especially for JAMB candidates)

University portals get busy near deadlines. Errors are common when students rush. Starting early gives you time to fix payment issues, re-scan documents, and confirm details—so you can focus on getting admitted, not fighting preventable mistakes.
