BUK Warns Undergraduate Students: Final Registration Deadline for 2023/2024 Academic Session Approaches
Bayero University Kano (BUK) has issued a crucial reminder to all undergraduate students regarding the registration deadline for the 2023/2024 academic session. The university announced that the registration portal will close on January 9, 2025, and no further extensions will be allowed. All students are urged to complete their registration before this deadline to avoid serious consequences.
Key Registration Guidelines
- For Students Who Have Taken Exams: If you have already written your First Semester exams but have not yet paid your registration fees, it’s critical that you make payment and finalize your registration before January 9, 2025.
- For Students Who Missed Exams Due to Fee Issues: If you were unable to sit for exams in the First Semester because of unpaid fees but now have the funds, you can still pay and complete your registration. Your suspension will only apply to the First Semester.
Consequences of Missing the Deadline
Failure to complete your registration by January 9, 2025, will result in a suspension from studies for the entire academic session. No exceptions will be made, so students are strongly advised to act quickly.
Important Information for Prospective Students
Prospective students applying for the 2024/2025 academic session are reminded that the Post-UTME online screening portal is still open. Interested candidates should ensure they register before the portal closes to secure their place.
BUK urges all students, both current and prospective, to act promptly to avoid any disruption in their academic journey. Stay on top of your registration requirements and avoid unnecessary setbacks.
