Admission Requirements
For MPhil (Terminal Programme):
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 50% to 54.99% or CGPA of 2.50–2.99
- Academic transcript required
For MPhil/PhD (Conversion Route):
- Master’s degree result between 55% and 59.99% or CGPA of 3.00–3.99
- Submit academic transcript, research proposal, and referee letters
For PhD Admission:
- Minimum of 60% or CGPA of 4.00
- Must include research proposal, academic transcript, and academic referee letters
Important Notes for Applicants
- Applicants with a professional Master’s (non-research based) can’t apply directly for a PhD. They’ll need to go through the MPhil/PhD route.
- To proceed from MPhil to PhD, candidates must score 60% or above in MPhil coursework.
- If you don’t meet this score, you’ll be awarded a terminal MPhil degree.
- Applicants who fall short of direct entry requirements may be advised to start from MPhil.
