Admission Requirements
For UTME Candidates
- Must have at least five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
- If you didn’t initially choose Ave Maria University during UTME, you can still apply — but you’ll need to change your institution on the JAMB portal after admission.
- Awaiting WAEC or NECO results? You’re still eligible to apply.
For Direct Entry Candidates
- Must possess five O’Level credits (including English and Maths) in no more than two sittings.
- Must present A-Level, ND (minimum Lower Credit) or equivalent (e.g. Cambridge results).
- Must have completed the JAMB Direct Entry form.
Post-UTME Screening Guidelines
If you’ve already downloaded the application form, ensure you’ve paid into the university’s official account before the screening date.
Required Documents to Bring:
- Printed admission form
- Screening assessment form
- Character assessment form
- Confidential report
- Guidance and counselling form
- WAEC or NECO result (if available)
All these documents — except your results — can be downloaded from the Ave Maria University website. Fill them out completely and bring them along for the screening exercise.
