ATBU Bauchi Implements Mandatory NDLEA Drug Test for Students
Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially announced that all students—both new and returning—must undergo the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Drug Integrity Test, following a Federal Government directive on drug screening in public universities.
The directive, communicated through an internal memo signed by the Deputy Registrar (Academics), Haj. Hadeeza Ibrahim Mailafia, makes the drug test a compulsory step in student clearance and academic registration for the 2025/2026 session.
How Students Can Complete the NDLEA Drug Test
According to the memo dated 12 December 2025, affected students are required to register through the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test portal at drugandvisa.ndlea.gov.ng You may also like to read:You may also like to read: The online platform enables students to:

A National Effort Against Drug Abuse
