ATAPOLY Announces Special Resit Exams Timetable for 2019–2023 Sessions
Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAPOLY), Bauchi, has officially released the academic calendar for its special resit examinations covering students from the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023 academic sessions.
The calendar, issued by the Directorate of Academic Planning, clearly outlines every stage of the resit exercise—from registration and examinations to marking, result compilation, and final approval by the Academic Board. For students affected by these sessions, the message is clear: track the dates closely and complete registration on time.
Below is a breakdown of everything students need to know.
Sessions Covered by the ATAPOLY Special Resit Exams
The special resit exercise applies strictly to students from the following academic sessions:
- 2019 academic session
- 2020 academic session
- 2021 academic session
- 2023 academic session
Only students within these categories are eligible to participate in the exercise.
Registration and Documentation Timeline (Three Weeks)
ATAPOLY will begin the resit process with a three-week registration and documentation period.
- Start: Monday, 19 January 2026
- End: Friday, 13 February 2026
Students are expected to complete all registration and documentation requirements within this window. Once registration closes, the institution will move directly into the examination phase, leaving little room for late compliance.
ATAPOLY Resit Examination Dates (Two Weeks)
The resit examinations themselves will run for two weeks, giving students a defined window to sit for their outstanding papers.
- From: 14 February 2026
- To: 23 February 2026
Students handling multiple courses are advised to organize their schedules carefully to avoid clashes and missed papers.
What Happens After the Resit Exams
Following the conclusion of the examinations, ATAPOLY has mapped out the internal academic processes leading to the final release of results.
Conference Marking and Auditing of Scripts
- 24 February 2026 – 28 February 2026
Computation and Compilation of Results
- 1 March 2026 – 4 March 2026
Academic Board Committee (ABC) Review
- 5 March 2026 – 7 March 2026
The Academic Board Committee will review and verify the compiled results.
Final Academic Board Approval
- 8 March 2026
The Academic Board Meeting (ABM) will give final approval for the release of results.
Important Notice to Affected Students
ATAPOLY has strongly advised students from the listed academic sessions to take the calendar seriously and comply strictly with registration procedures. Missing the registration and documentation stage could automatically exclude a student from the entire resit process—an outcome no one wants at this critical stage.
Students are therefore encouraged to prepare early, follow official guidelines, and monitor institutional announcements closely.
