ASMAF 2025 Scholarship: Full Tuition Support for Nigerian Female Students

If you’re a young Nigerian woman with ambition, brains, and financial challenges, the ASMAF 2025 Scholarship Programme could be your golden opportunity.

The scholarship goes beyond financial aid — it combines full academic funding with mentorship, leadership training, and essential study resources to help women excel both inside and outside the classroom.

But this isn’t a free-for-all. The eligibility criteria are strict, and only the best candidates will be selected.

What the ASMAF Scholarship Covers

Successful applicants will enjoy benefits that can last up to six years in a Nigerian public university, including:

  • Full financial coverage for tuition, accommodation, and living expenses.
  • Mentorship and training to build leadership and personal growth skills.
  • Access to study resources that support academic success.

Note: The scholarship is performance-based. Poor grades could lead to termination.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the 2025 ASMAF Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a female Nigerian student from a low-income family.
  • Be enrolling in tertiary education for the first time.
  • Have full-time admission into a public Nigerian university to study Medicine, Law, Engineering, Accountancy, Architecture, Actuarial Science, or similar professional courses.
  • Show excellent academic performance in previous examinations (WAEC, NECO, GCE, etc.).
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and willingness to grow.

Application Deadline and Process

The application closes on Friday, September 12, 2025. Interested candidates must:

    • Post-UTME or university transcript.
  3. Provide two referees (non-family members) who can confirm both academic and financial background.

Late applications will not be accepted. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Selection Process

ASMAF’s selection follows a rigorous, multi-step review:

  • Eligibility screening.
  • Verification of referees’ recommendations.
  • Ranking based on course, university, and state of origin.
  • Final selection according to available funding.

Successful applicants will receive an official offer letter and a deadline to accept.

Conditions of the Award

To keep the scholarship active, recipients must:

  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA every year.
  • Submit an annual progress report.
  • Avoid taking on full-time jobs without ASMAF’s approval.
  • Get permission before holding another scholarship or switching courses.

The scholarship will be renewed annually as long as academic and participation requirements are met.

When the Scholarship Can Be Withdrawn

The award may be terminated if the student:

  • Provides false information.
  • Drops below the GPA requirement.
  • Gets withdrawn from the university.
  • Fails to submit annual reports.

However, reinstatement is possible if a termination was made in error.
