ASCOEA–UNIMAID Undergraduate Admission 2025/2026: Application Still Ongoing

The Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA), in collaboration with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), has announced that its online application and screening for the 2025/2026 undergraduate programme are still ongoing.

This joint-degree programme offers a golden opportunity for students seeking to combine professional teaching qualifications with a solid university degree. However, the deadline for application and screening is October 30, 2025 — and interested candidates are urged not to delay.

Through its affiliation with the University of Maiduguri, ASCOEA continues to deliver quality teacher education that blends classroom theory with hands-on experience. Admission Requirements

For Direct Entry Applicants:

  • Minimum of 8 points in NCE/IJMB or a Merit in a recognized Diploma programme.

For 100-Level (UTME) Applicants:

  • Minimum UTME score of 150.
  • Five (5) O’ Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects to the chosen course.

Note: All candidates must also meet the subject combination requirements for their selected programmes.

How to Apply

  1. Pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.
  2. Present both original and photocopies of credentials.
  3. Submit:
    • JAMB Result Slip (for UTME candidates).
    • JAMB Registration Slip (for Direct Entry applicants).
  4. Ensure your O’ Level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal.
  5. If you are switching schools or courses, update your choices using the JAMB Change of Institution portal, setting ASCOEA as your first choice.
  6. Candidates can opt for either physical or online screening through the ASCOEA Applicant Portal.

The online screening portal officially opened on Monday, August 18, 2025.
