Apply Now: WomenLift Health x WILAN Nigeria Leadership Journey 2026
Nigerian mid-career women working in public and global health now have the opportunity to join the WomenLift Health x WILAN Nigeria Leadership Journey 2026 — a fully funded, 12-month programme designed to elevate women leaders across Nigeria’s health sector.
The Leadership Journey provides a dynamic and supportive environment where participants can reflect on their leadership style, boost confidence, and enhance communication and leadership skills. Participants engage with peers, mentors, and coaches who offer practical guidance and ongoing support throughout the programme.
Who Can Apply?
The programme seeks women who:
- Identify as female
- Work in public health policy, research, practice, or programme management
- Have 10–20 years of experience in public health
- Live and work in Nigeria and are Nigerian citizens
- Communicate confidently in English
- Are available within West Africa Standard Time for at least 75% of the programme
Women from government, private sector, academia, non-profits, philanthropy, and research are encouraged to apply.
Programme Structure
Participants will benefit from a mix of physical and online learning activities, including:
- Two in-person residencies: Immersion (20–22 July 2026) and Lift-Off (20–21 April 2027)
- Online learning sessions throughout the year
- Group mentoring via online platforms
- One-to-one coaching sessions
- A self-directed health leadership project
Upon completion, participants become Global Fellows, joining a lasting network for peer support locally, regionally, and globally.
Programme Cost
The Leadership Journey is fully funded. All costs, including travel and accommodation for in-person sessions, are covered.

- Duration: May 2026 – April 2027
