The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) is now accepting applications for its professional safety programs under the Centre for Safety Management, in partnership with Safety Analytics Limited. These programs are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to promote safety in various work environments, making them well-prepared to address safety challenges in industries ranging from oil and gas to public health.

Available Programs
1. Professional Diploma in Process Safety Management
- Duration: 6 months
- Focus: Safety management in industries such as oil, gas, and chemicals.
- Entry Requirements: HND in a science or engineering field.
2. Professional Diploma in Workplace Safety Management
- Duration: 6 months
- Focus: Health and safety management in workplaces.
- Entry Requirements: HND in any science or engineering field.
3. Professional Master in Process Safety Management
- Duration: 12 months
- Focus: Preventing accidents in high-risk industries like oil, gas, and chemicals.
- Entry Requirements: BSc in any science or engineering field.
4. Professional Master in Occupational Safety and Health
- Duration: 12 months
- Focus: Job site safety, risk management, and worker protection.
- Entry Requirements: BSc in any science or engineering field.
5. Professional Master in System Safety and Reliability Studies
- Duration: 12 months
- Focus: System design, risk checks, and safety strategies in industries like aviation and robotics.
- Entry Requirements: BSc in fields such as chemical, civil, gas, electrical, robotics, or aviation.
6. Professional Master in Environmental Safety and Health
- Duration: 12 months
- Focus: Environmental safety, addressing risks related to air, water, and public spaces.
- Entry Requirements: BSc in any science or engineering field.
How to Attend
You can choose between two flexible study options:
- Regular Study: Attend face-to-face classes at the Lokoja Main Campus, Port Harcourt Centre, or Abuja Centre.
- Distance Learning: Join online classes through FULOKOJA’s learning portal. You’ll study remotely but must attend fieldwork and lab sessions in person.

- Create an Account: Register and choose your program type (Masters or PGD).
- Select Your Course: Choose your preferred course and complete the application form.

- Diploma Application (Nigeria): ₦30,000
- Master’s Application (Nigeria): ₦40,000
- Diploma Application (International): $100
- Master’s Application (International): $150

Entry Requirements
- O’Level Credits: Five credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.
