What is LASRIC’s STEM Challenge 2025?
The LASRIC STEM Challenge is an open call for ideas that will drive forward STEM education, sustainability, and technological advancements. By encouraging innovative solutions, the challenge is set to improve learning experiences, particularly in emerging fields such as AI, robotics, and GreenTech.
Key Focus Areas for Submissions:
Participants are encouraged to submit solutions that focus on the following priority areas:
- FutureTech – Pioneering technologies that are shaping the future.
- AI and Robotics – Advancing artificial intelligence and robotic systems.
- GreenTech – Solutions that promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- Inclusivity Tech – Technologies designed to promote accessibility and inclusivity for all.

Who Can Apply?
The LASRIC STEM Challenge is open to individuals and startups that meet the following criteria:
- Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
- Identity: Provide a valid means of identification.
- Startup Requirements: You must own a registered and operational startup in Lagos.
- Innovation: Submit an original product, tool, solution, or technique that addresses one of the challenge’s focus areas.
- Proven Impact: Your solution should have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with measurable, verifiable impact on its beneficiaries.
- Financial Responsibility: Applicants must not owe any outstanding loans or funds to the Lagos State Government, including from LSETF.
