Anchor University Post-UTME 2025/2026: Dates, Eligibility, and Requirements

Anchor University has officially announced the dates for its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise will be held in two phases, giving applicants the option of physical screening on campus or online screening from home, depending on their location.

Screening Schedule and Modes

The screening has been split into two groups to make the process smoother:

1. Physical Screening (For candidates in the Southwest)

  • Venue: Anchor University campus, Lagos
  • Date: Tuesday, 26th August 2025
  • Time: 9:00 AM

2. Online Screening (For candidates outside the Southwest)

  • Mode: Virtual screening coordinated by the University
  • Date: Thursday, 28th August 2025
  • Time: 9:00 AM

This approach ensures that applicants do not have to travel long distances just to participate in the admission process.

Who Is Eligible?

Not every candidate qualifies automatically. The university has set strict eligibility rules:

  • Candidates must have chosen Anchor University as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
  • A minimum UTME score of 150 is required.
  • Those who selected the university as a second choice (or not at all) must log in to the JAMB portal to effect a change.
  • Applicants must possess five O’Level credits in not more than two sittings.
  • Students awaiting results are advised to wait for the next screening round.
  • Age requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025. Younger candidates should consider JUPEB or Diploma programs instead.

What To Bring on Screening Day

Candidates must come with the original copies of the following documents:

  • O’Level results (WAEC/NECO)
  • JAMB result slip
  • Completed Anchor University application form
  • Birth certificate or sworn age declaration
  • WAEC/NECO scratch cards for result verification

During the exercise, candidates will also undergo a brief oral interaction, where officers will review documents and ask a few questions. Applicants are advised to stay calm, answer clearly, and show confidence.

Final Note

The Anchor University Post-UTME is more than just paperwork – it’s the first real interaction between candidates and the institution. A simple mistake could cost you admission, so preparation is key. Gather your documents, practice confidence, and “shine your eyes, no slack,” because this is the doorway to your academic future.
