Akwa Ibom State College of Education to Hold 8th–13th Combined Convocation Ceremony
The Akwa Ibom State College of Education (AKSCOE), Afaha Nsit, has announced that its much-anticipated 8th to 13th Combined Convocation Ceremony will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the College Sports Grounds. The event, starting at 9:00 a.m., will not only celebrate academic milestones but also feature the commissioning of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) projects.
Distinguished Guests to Grace the Occasion
According to a notice signed by the College Registrar and Secretary to the Academic Board, Barrister Augustine E. Udoibit, the ceremony will bring together top political leaders, scholars, and dignitaries.
Among the special guests expected are:
- His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Visitor to the College – Special Guest of Honour
- Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, CFR, Chairman, Board of Trustees of TETFund and former Governor of Katsina State – Guest of Honour
- Professor Ubong E. Umoh, Commissioner for Education – Chairman of the Ceremony
- Professor Matthew Nsing Ogar, University of Cross River State, Calabar – Guest Lecturer
