What Admitted Candidates Must Do Next

The Polytechnic outlined clear, mandatory steps. Candidates are advised to follow them in order:

1) Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS

If your admission status is showing “pending”, log in to JAMB CAPS and accept the offer immediately.

This step is not optional—it confirms your admission.

2) Generate and Pay the Acceptance Fee (₦15,000)

Visit a cybercafé to generate an invoice on the Akwa Ibom Poly student portal and pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000).

3) Proceed to Your Department With the Remita Invoice

After generating the Remita invoice, proceed to your respective department for screening and registration.

Documents Required for Screening

Candidates must attend screening with:

  • JAMB Admission Letter (downloaded online)
  • Original credentials as required by the department

Missing original documents can delay your registration—small mistake, big delay.

Important Warning on Payments and Fraud

The Polytechnic issued a strong warning to protect candidates:

  • Do NOT give money to anyone, including relatives.
  • Do NOT pay into any POS account number.
  • Make all payments strictly through official channels.
  • Ensure receipts match the portal process.

More Admission Lists May Be Released

The institution added that additional admission lists may follow and advised candidates to remain patient as updates will be released within the shortest possible time.

Bottom Line

If your name is on the ND 4th or 5th Supplementary Admission List, act now: accept on JAMB CAPS, pay the ₦15,000 acceptance fee, and proceed to your department for screening—using only official channels.
