Who is Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for admission, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a National Diploma (ND) from an NBTE-accredited institution in a related field with at least a Lower Credit.
- If you have a Pass grade, you must present evidence of at least two years of post-ND work experience.
- A completed one-year Industrial Training (IT) is compulsory.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for Akwa Ibom Poly HND Admission
Follow these four easy steps carefully:
STEP 1: Generate Invoice
- Visit the Akwa Ibom Poly portal
- Click on Online Application
- Enter your full name and phone number to generate your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) invoice
STEP 2: Make Payment
- Take your invoice to any commercial bank
- Pay ₦10,000 (includes bank charges)
- Collect your electronic application PIN
STEP 3: Fill the Application Form
- Return to the portal
- Click on Admissions → Application Forms
- Choose your programme and enter the PIN
- Fill the form and upload all required documents
STEP 4: Upload These Documents
- One-year industrial attachment letter
- Official ND transcript or statement of result
- Photocopy of registration receipt
Screening Date & Deadline
- Screening Date: To be announced. Stay updated via the official school portal. All applicants must appear in person with their original credentials.
- Deadline for Application: August 20, 2025. No late entries will be accepted.
