AKSU Releases 2025/2026 Admission List — Here’s How to Check Your Status

The long wait is finally over. Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. For many JAMB candidates, this is the moment they’ve been refreshing portals and saying silent prayers for. Some hearts will leap with joy today, while others may still need to keep hope alive — but the good news is that the list is out.

How to Check AKSU Admission List on JAMB CAPS

Unlike in the past when admission lists were pasted on school noticeboards, AKSU’s list is now strictly available on the JAMB CAPS portal. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Visit the JAMB E-Facility portal.
  2. Log in using your JAMB registered email/username and password.
  3. Scroll down and click “Check Admission Status.”
  4. Select “Access My CAPS.”
  5. Click “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission into AKSU.

That’s it — no long stress, no physical checking required.

What to Do After Admission

  • Accept or Reject Offer: Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
  • If You Accept: Print your JAMB admission letter immediately as proof of admission.
  • If You Reject: You automatically make room for other admission options or future rounds.
  • If You See “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”: Don’t panic. Keep checking back. Many candidates get updated later as schools send more names to JAMB.

Final Note

Admission season always comes with two emotions: celebration and patience. Some families will be celebrating tonight, while others will continue checking and hoping for the next update.

Whatever side you find yourself on, remember:

  • If you’ve made it, congratulations — your AKSU journey begins now.
  • If you’re still waiting, don’t give up. More batches of admission could still drop.
