AFUSTA Unveils 2025/2026 Registration Steps for Newly Admitted Undergraduates

Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA), formerly Kebbi State University of Science and Technology (KSUSTA), has released the official online screening and registration procedure for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The university’s step-by-step guide is designed to make registration seamless for fresh students, emphasizing compliance with each stage and careful retention of all printed documents.

Here’s the complete guide:

Step 1: Complete Online Screening
Candidates who have not yet completed online screening should log in to the university portal, check their admission status, and complete the form. A N2,000 fee is required. After submission, print the Online Screening Form and report to the Registration Centre for activation.

Step 2: Print Conditional Offer Letter
Once activated, check your registered email to access and print the Conditional Offer Letter. Using a wrong email may delay access.

Step 3: Pay Acceptance Fee and Download Provisional Offer
Pay a N5,000 admission acceptance fee online to download the Provisional Offer of Admission. Keep copies for reference.

Step 4: Pay for Student Registration Record Files
Visit any Ecobank Nigeria Plc branch to pay N1,500 for Student Registration Record Files. Bring proof of payment to the designated Registration Centre on campus, starting Tuesday, 27 January 2026.

Step 5: Collect Registration Files and Arrange Credentials
Students will receive three registration files. Photocopy all required credentials, including:

  • UTME/DE result slip
  • JAMB admission letter
  • Provisional Offer of Admission

Original documents must also be presented for verification.

Step 6: Confirmation Letter & Registration Fee Invoice
After verification, collect the Confirmation of Admission Letter and generate the payment invoice for registration fees via the student portal.

Step 7: Complete Online Course Registration
Proceed with online course registration and print all required forms, including:

  • Course Registration Form
  • Physical Examination Form
  • Other portal-listed forms

Keep printed documents organized to avoid delays during verification.

Step 8: Verify Registration Payments
Submit registration payments to the Student Affairs Division for verification and signature, confirming the university’s receipt.

Step 9: Register for NHIS at University Clinic
Complete registration with the University Clinic for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

Step 10: Obtain Library Ticket, ID Card & Submit Files
Collect your library borrower’s ticket and student ID card, then submit all three fully completed registration files to the Academic Division. This step finalizes the registration process.

Important Note:
AFUSTA warns that students falsely claiming Kebbi State origin will pay double registration fees after verification.
