AFIT Post-UTME Screening Dates for 2025/2026 Announced — See Full Schedule and Requirements

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna has officially announced the dates for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise. The screening will take place from Monday, 18th August to Wednesday, 20th August 2025 — a schedule aimed at keeping the institution’s unique October-to-August academic calendar on track.

AFIT, known for its cutting-edge programmes in engineering, science, and technology, offers both degree and diploma courses approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).


Who Is Eligible for the Screening?

The exercise is strictly for candidates who:

  • Applied to AFIT through JAMB
  • Selected AFIT as their first choice institution
  • Meet the institution’s entry requirements

Screening Schedule by Day

Day 1 – Monday, 18 August 2025
For candidates applying to:

  • B.Eng. Aerospace Engineering
  • B.Eng. Mechatronics Engineering
  • B.Eng. Electrical Engineering
  • B.Eng. Information and Communication Technology
  • B.Eng. Civil Engineering
  • B.Eng. Telecommunications Engineering
  • B.Eng. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
  • B.Eng. Automotive Engineering
  • B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering
  • B.Sc. Chemistry
  • B.Sc. Physics
  • B.Sc. Physics with Electronics
  • B.Sc. Mathematics
  • B.Sc. Statistics

Day 2 – Tuesday, 19 August 2025
For candidates applying to:

  • B.Sc. Computer Science
  • B.Sc. Cyber Security
  • ND Civil Engineering
  • ND Aircraft Engineering Technology
  • ND Business Administration and Management
  • ND Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology
  • ND Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • ND Explosive Ordinance (Military Only)

Day 3 – Wednesday, 20 August 2025

  • Reserved for mop-up screening (for those who missed their scheduled day).

Mandatory Screening Requirements

Candidates must come with:

  • JAMB slip
  • AFIT Post-UTME acknowledgement slip
  • A calculator

Important: Only candidates who have completed their AFIT Post-UTME registration will be allowed into the venue. Candidates are strongly advised to arrive early at the Nigerian Air Force Base main gate, Kaduna, for security checks before proceeding to the examination halls.
