AE-FUNAI Opens JUPEB Admission for 2025/2026: Your Fast-Track to 200-Level Entry

Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) has officially opened applications for its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This is an academic lifeline for students aiming to skip UTME stress and go straight into 200-level in AE-FUNAI or any of over 90 partnering universities in Nigeria and abroad.

What Is JUPEB?

The JUPEB programme at AE-FUNAI is a 10-month academic initiative established in 2014 and run by the Centre for Educational Services. It is designed to prepare candidates for Direct Entry (DE) admission into the second year of various degree programmes.


Who Can Apply?

If you meet the following criteria, you’re eligible:

  • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics
  • Acceptable results from WAEC, NECO, or GCE
  • All results must be obtained within a maximum of two sittings

Programme Duration

The programme spans two semesters (approximately 10 calendar months), concluding with the official JUPEB examination.

How to Apply

Application is strictly online. The fee is ₦15,000.

  1. Visit the official application portal.
  2. Generate your invoice and RRR
  3. Pay online or at any Nigerian bank
  4. Return to the portal to complete your application
  5. Print the application form
  6. Email a copy to yourself and confirm your application number

  • Upload a recent passport photo (white background); write your name on the back
  • No corrections allowed after submission
