ADSU Schedules Two-Day Orientation for Newly Admitted Students (February 12–13, 2026)
The Management of Adamawa State University (ADSU) has approved a two-day orientation exercise for all newly admitted students for the 2026 academic session. The programme is designed to formally welcome fresh students and introduce them to university life, rules, and academic expectations.
The orientation will hold on Thursday, February 12, and Friday, February 13, 2026, depending on the campus where a student’s faculty is located.
Orientation dates by campus
- Barde Campus (All Faculties):
Thursday, February 12, 2026 - Boni Haruna Campus (All Faculties):
Friday, February 13, 2026
Start time
- 10:00 am daily
Newly admitted students are expected to be present from the start of the programme on their scheduled day.
Lecture-free days approved
To ensure full participation, the university has declared lecture-free days for newly admitted students only on both orientation dates:
- Thursday, February 12, 2026
- Friday, February 13, 2026
This approval does not apply to returning students.
Attendance is compulsory
ADSU Management emphasized that attendance is mandatory for all newly admitted students.
To enforce this:
- An attendance register will be opened at the beginning of the orientation
- Another register will be taken at the end of the programme
Students are advised to attend fully to avoid any academic or administrative issues.
