ADSU Offers Free Transport and Accommodation for 2025 Convocation Attendees
In a major show of support for students, Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has announced free transportation and accommodation for all graduands and interested undergraduates attending the 2025 Convocation Ceremony.
According to the announcement, the Vice-Chancellor approved this initiative to make travel and participation easier for students across the state. The free bus and lodging arrangements aim to ensure that all attendees can fully partake in the celebration without financial strain.
Transport Schedule and Pick-up Points
University buses will convey students to and from the convocation venue on Thursday, 30 October 2025. Below are the official departure points and times:
- Yola: Mubi Roundabout, Jimeta–Yola – 8:00 a.m.
- Song: Local Government Secretariat – 9:00 a.m.
- Gombi: Junction – 10:00 a.m.
- Hong: LCCN No.1, Hong – 10:30 a.m.
- Madagali: Local Government Secretariat, Gulak – 9:00 a.m.
- Michika: Local Government Secretariat – 9:30 a.m.
Important Travel Information
All students intending to use the university buses are required to present their school ID card or examination card before boarding. This verification step ensures that only registered ADSU students benefit from the free transport service.
Accommodation for Attendees
In addition to transportation, the Vice-Chancellor has also approved free accommodation for all graduands and participating undergraduates. The school management encourages students to plan ahead and take advantage of these provisions to make their trip to Mubi comfortable and convenient.
