Adamawa State University Announces Combined Convocation Ceremony for 2022–2025 Graduands
Mubi, Adamawa State – Adamawa State University (ADSU) has officially announced the details for its 15th–17th Combined Convocation Ceremony, celebrating graduates from the 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 academic sessions.
In a statement released by the university management, all concerned graduands are advised to visit the official ADSU website to check their names on the complete list of graduands and to review additional information regarding the event.

Convocation Fees and Payment Details
Graduands are required to pay their certificate and alumni fees according to their respective levels of study as follows:
- First Degree: ₦15,000
- Postgraduate Diploma: ₦20,000
- Master’s Degree: ₦25,000
- Ph.D: ₦35,000
- Alumni Fee: ₦3,500

Alumni Membership and Registration
Registration for Alumni membership begins on Friday, 31 October 2025, at the Academic Division, Adamawa State University, Mubi. Payment of the Alumni fee is compulsory for all graduands participating in the 15th–17th Convocation Ceremony.
Issuance and Return of Academic Gowns
Academic gowns will be distributed from Thursday, 30 October 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at respective faculty offices. Collection will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and graduands must provide proof of graduation.
- Ph.D. graduands may choose to purchase their academic gowns for ₦50,000. This fee is separate from the convocation payment and the gown becomes their personal property, symbolizing their association with ADSU.
Borrowed gowns must be returned on or before Wednesday, 5 November 2025. A ₦5,000 daily fine will apply for late returns.
Certificate Collection
Distribution of certificates will commence on Monday, 3 November 2025, at the Academic Division. To collect their certificates, graduands are required to present the following documents:
- Original statement of result
- School ID card
- National ID card
- Copy of O’ Level certificate
- Evidence of Alumni membership
- Receipt of convocation fee payment
All receipts must be verified before certificates can be issued.
Convocation Lecture and Dress Code
Graduands are expected to attend the Convocation Lecture scheduled for Friday, 31 October 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Jikamana Conference Hall, ADSU Mubi Guest Inn, Garden City, Mubi.
Only graduands properly dressed in their approved faculty gowns will be allowed to join the academic procession and enter the Convocation Ground.
