ABUTH SHIM Updates Orientation & Matriculation Schedule for Fresh Students
The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) School of Health Information Management (SHIM) has announced a revised schedule for its 2026 orientation and matriculation events for incoming students.
According to a memo from the Academic Planning and Quality Assurance Unit (Reference: ABUTH/SHIM/APQA/003), all new students are required to attend the sessions. The updated dates follow a previous postponement.
Key Dates to Note:
- Orientation Programme: Tuesday, 13 January 2026
- Matriculation Ceremony: Wednesday, 14 January 2026
The events are designed to help new students familiarize themselves with campus support services, academic expectations, and the school’s operational structure. Attendance will be officially recorded, as emphasized by the Coordinator, Ibrahim Nasiru Alu.
