ABUAD Opens Admission for 2025/2026 Pre-Degree, JUPEB, and Foundation Programmes
Your chance to secure direct university admission without POST-UTME — everything you need to know to apply.
Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), one of Nigeria’s leading private universities, has officially opened applications for its Pre-Degree, JUPEB, and Cambridge Foundation programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
These programmes offer alternative pathways to university admission, especially for students looking to improve their WAEC/NECO results, skip POST-UTME, or gain direct entry into 200 Level.
Here’s a breakdown of what each programme offers, who it is for, and how to apply.
What ABUAD Offers: Pathways to Your University Dream
1. Pre-Degree Programme (9 Months)
This intensive nine-month course is designed to help students strengthen their WAEC or NECO results and prepare effectively for the UTME. A standout advantage: no need to sit for ABUAD’s POST-UTME.
Students who successfully complete the programme gain direct entry into 100 Level. The success rate is impressive — over 95% of students transition smoothly into full undergraduate programmes.
2. Cambridge Advanced Level (1 Year)
Planning to study either in Nigeria or abroad? This one-year, fast-track programme prepares students for the Cambridge A-Level exams — an internationally recognized qualification.
Since 2012, ABUAD has partnered with Cambridge to deliver this programme. Graduates enjoy wide-ranging university options both within and outside Nigeria.
3. Degree Foundation (JUPEB or Cambridge) – Direct Entry into 200 Level
If you’ve already met basic university admission requirements, this programme offers a 12-month pathway to 200 Level, excluding Law.
Both the JUPEB and Cambridge tracks are accepted by many top universities in Nigeria — not just ABUAD — giving you flexibility in your academic journey.
4. International Exam Coaching
Interested in schooling abroad? ABUAD offers tailored coaching for key global exams including GRE, GMAT, SAT, IELTS, and TOEFL.
With qualified instructors and top-tier learning materials, students are well prepared to achieve the scores required by international universities.
