ABU Zaria Extends Postgraduate Application Deadline to November 30, 2025
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has officially extended the deadline for the online sale of its postgraduate application forms for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Originally scheduled to close on Friday, October 31, 2025, the new deadline is now Sunday, November 30, 2025, giving prospective applicants an extra month to complete their submissions and prepare supporting documents.
The university announced the extension through its Postgraduate College, urging interested candidates to seize the opportunity to apply before the new closing date.

With the extended timeline, graduates seeking to advance their academic or professional qualifications now have additional time to explore ABU’s wide range of postgraduate programmes.

Application Fees and Key Requirements
The ABU postgraduate application form costs ₦10,000, excluding bank charges.
PhD applicants are required to submit a research proposal not exceeding 300 words as part of their application process.
Candidates must also provide valid email addresses and phone numbers for official communication.
To be eligible, every applicant must possess at least five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. These standards, according to ABU, help maintain the quality and credibility of its postgraduate programmes.
